Dear Friends!

Those of you who know me, are aware of how much I value, and love, NPR.One of my dreams is to be on show interview with Terry Gross.

So, please tune in for my first radio interview this weekend Saturday morning at 11:30 EDT on the program Crossover with Jill Pasternak streaming on http://wrti.org. Click below on link

(UPDATED LINK TO INTERVIEW AUDIO)

The other interviewees are speaking on the topic of upcoming youth music competition this month, “You’ve Got Rythm” which is dedicated to the legacy of Amercian composer (my great-uncle) George Gershwin, where I will be speaking at the Gala Opening!

I am the sole family representative on the show. So I get a chance to bring up the topic of my grandmother, Frankie Gershwin (aka Frances Gershwin Godowsky; kid sister and broadway singer-dancer, and co-performer for many years with the Gershwin brothers), whom I was named after, and the exciting connections I am making between the Russian and American Arts Communities today! Also, as it turns out, Jill just interviewed our newly-again-Tony nominated Broadway star, Audra McDonald! Fun fun!
